Hotel Aaculaax - San Marcos La Laguna

Aaculaax is situated in a small Mayan village, San Marcos La Laguna, on the shores of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala.

Aaculaax offers 2 suites with kitchens and 4 rooms with private bath. It is recommended to make a reservation for the suites in advance. Prices vary from 30 to 70 dollars, depending upon the season. We offer special rates for long-term rentals.

Aaculaax offers its guests fresh bread from our bakery, a full service restaurant, sauna, massage and a variety of workshops.

Aaculaax is built into a hillside, with breathtaking views of the lake and volcanoes, and is only a 5 minute walk from the center of town. A small beach is directly in front of the hotel where swimming is possible all year round. The climate is great (between 22 and 28 degrees Celsius or 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit); tropical flowers and plants flourish in our gardens, creating a perfect location to admire a variety of exotic flora and fauna.
