Reservation & Cancellation Policies
Our rates vary by season and by room. We do not take reservations for the budget rooms. If you are interested in a budget room, the best idea is to come by the hotel when you arrive in San Marcos and see what we have available. We take reservations for Mirador, Sonrisa, Pescado, Cascada, Granadilla, Sirena and Alain. Please visit Rooms for descriptions.
During Easter and Christmas weeks there is a minimum 3 night stay.
We accept reservations through Paypal or through direct deposit to our Guatemalan bank account (Banco Industrial). We do not accept credit cards. For a reservation we require a payment in full 1 week prior to your arrival at the hotel.
If you are already in Guatemala, it may be easier to deposit the money into our Banco Industrial bank account.
If you want to pay via Paypal, you can go to the website www.paypal.com, set up a free account there and send the money to our account. You must send the money from your bank account or Paypal account. Again, we do not accept credit cards directly. The Paypal process of setting up an account that can move funds from your bank account or credit card usually takes several days.
Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am. If you will be arriving before check-in or leaving after check-out, we have a safe place to store your luggage.
Please consider our cancellation policy: Full refund if you cancel your stay two weeks prior to arrival minus the first night that will be charged nonetheless. If you cancel less than two weeks prior to your stay there is no refund.
